    WebSphere Application Server Vulnerabilities

    --------------------------------

Our installation, Siebel application, is still running on down-level WAS 5.3. We cannot upgrade to WAS 6.1 because the vendor software will not run on WAS 6.1. So, we have to create a risk evaluation form that asks that we be allowed to continue to run on WAS 5.3.I need list all of the vulnerabilities that exist in WAS 5.3 that have been fixed in later releases of WAS, along with a secondary control that is in place for each vulnerability.

Instead of gathering the list all the vulnerabilities which are fixed in later version of WAS, I would suggest to talk to your IBM support contact to find out how much does it cost for extended support. Because even if you manager to get the list, you have rely on IBM to provide the fix for a non supported version. Believe me extended support does not come cheap.

Rather I would force the vendor to convert his application to support WAS 6.1.
