    Hi All ,

I tried stopNode.sh , syncNode.sh and startNode.sh from cli and the scripts ran successfully . How ever when I see the status of nodes in WAS UI console , the nodes status doesn't seems to be in synchronisation .

Please help me here . Attaching the screenshots for the same .

    Hello

Just for synchronization, I think you can synchronize nodes without restarting node agents with the following ways:

Supposing that 3 node agents are already started, from admin console,

    1. Select nodes
    2. Synchronize nodes
    3. Refresh the status

Usually you can synchronize the nodes with the above operations.

There is probably a port being blocked by a firewall.

    Hello Siraj,

where did you run the syncNode.sh command? As the nodes are still not in sync - which entries do you get in the nodeagent logs? Which log entries do you get in the dmgr logs? Is there full IP visibility across all nodes of the cell (pre-req for WAS) without any limitations? Do you have a firewall daemon running on the nodes? If yes, does disabling them change the situation?

    Hope this helps, Hermann

    Hi Siraj,

As per my understanding you are able to synchronize the nodes from the command line and the command executes without any error which means port 8879 (default) is open and listening, but you are not able to see the synchronized status from the admin console.

I'm just wondering if you can disable the firewall and check the same with a clean restart of the environment, apparently these type of error can happen if there is a UDP/TCP Port listening issues/Firewall policies.

If above doesn't work, you can try redeploy the isclite application.

    Regards,

    Siraj Shaik.
