    Hello everyone,

    We deployed a virtual junction for an application (Qlik sense) which uses web sockets.
    The websocket timeout is set to 120s, and the application is configured to send a keepalive/ping in the websocket each 30s.
    Everything is working fine with Firefox and Chrome, however on IE11/edge the websocket keeps hitting the 2 minute timeout as if there was no keepalive.

    This is the reponse we received from the qlik sense support:
    . Our solution Qlik Sense have its own own Ping/Pong mecanism for WebSocket, fixed to 30 seconds. Moreover, Internet Explorer/Edge browser already have their own Ping/Pong mecanism for WebSocket.

    . All is OK for Chrome and Firefox browser, but for Internet Explorer/Edge browser, we think that TAM closes the websocket connection.  Are they settings to enable in TAM to solve unexpected websocket connection closure?

    As anyone experienced such a behavior? Any clue on a possible workaround/solution?
    PS: we're on isam 9.0.7 IF1

    HI

    Answer will really depend on going further into the network trace and other websocket timeout settings in RP.

    You can also check if  this setting helps you
