webMethods upgrade from V 9.9 to V 10.1

    Hello Experts,

    We are planning to upgrade from webMethods 9.9 to 10.1 (We are considering) or higher
    I’m new to this upgrade concept and would need help in this.
    I would like to know, the procedure/process to upgrade and whom should we contact for software purchase etc details.
    We have IS, Designer, UM, Centrasite, BPM, Mashzone, MWS and JDBC Adapter on Unix OS.

    Is it direct upgrade from 9.9 to 10.1, two step process or side by side approach?

    Please advise.

    Hi Saritha,

    it will be a side-by-side approach.

    Check the Upgrade Path documentation if it is possible in one hop.

    See the Upgrading webMethods Components Guide for the concrete steps to follow.

    You should choose 10.1 (or if you can still wait 2 or 3 months you can check for 10.3).
