The documentation is not in PDF format, but you will not have to worry about: "Every click goes back and get the html page, which is slow and annoying."
You will be responsible for keeping your offline documentation up to date. The same responsibility that applies to PDF documentation.

It is much easier to search (with in a doc) and read a pdf version compare to the online one. Every click goes back and get the html page, which is slow and annoying. There is no forward and backward button on a page. Its overall not a good experience. I have created a feature request to get the pdf also along with html version. Lets hope they bring them back!
