The OPC Unified Architecture focusses on communicating with industrial equipment and systems for data collection and control. webMethods Adapter for OPC provides a graphical interface to develop services for metadata introspection, read, write/update and method execution operations without the need for coding. In addition, the listener services allow you to subscribe to messages (for data changes and alarms or events).
