My guess.

I checked your install logs but I don’t find any useful info for me. Can you explain in-detail when you encounter this error.

Also the error itself indicates there is a ClassLoader issue. May be the issue with JVM or something.

Try exiting the error and retry again. Did you review the system requirements guide?

Hello Mahesh - Yes. I did review System Requirements guide before starting installation. We installed jre-7u79-linux-i586.rpm package and setup CLASSPATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

Hi Mayank,

can you try with a JRE 8?

Looks like MWS is using a feature which is not yet available in JRE 7, but is in JRE 8.

There should have been an InvalidClassVersion Exception instead of the Linkage Error.

Maynak – I would suggest to install only those components which you required than all. We used to this error which you stated because of some dependency of jar in java.

Hi,
from the install log I see that it is used OpenJDK. Our Installer support only Oracle Java.

Please install Oracle Java and try again to install.

from the log:
08:29:15 alert DM> java.home: /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.45.x86_64/jre

Also you can add -debugLvl 9 command parameter which will generate verbose install log. If installation fails again it will help more.

Could you give more info about OS on which you try to install?
In the install log it looks like that it is used JRE 1.8 32bit on 65 bit OS.

Is that correct?

I have tried to install on my local RH6 64bit VM JRE 8 32bit but it throws some errors. Probably I do not have some libraries for 32bit support.

If your installed JRE is 32bit could you try to use Java 8 64bit?

We installed 64 bit JRE ( jre-8u60-linux-x64.rpm ) and getting same error.

Could you try to execute installation again with some additional parameters?

java -verbose:classes -jar <installer.jar> -readImage <image.file> -console -debugLvl 9 -debug 10 > debugLog.txt 2>&1

And could you try to install in different install directory?

I guess the problem would be with image itself sometimes. If you can wait for a week or two wM 9.9 released two days back and it must be available for a test drive.
