webMethods 65 support on Redhat

  • 1.  webMethods 65 support on Redhat

    Hi,

Can someone please help me in my analysis for evaluating webMethods 6.5 on Redhat?

Request you to please share all your experiences with webMethods6.5 on RedHat.

Currently, we are running webMethods IS6.5 on Wintel boxes. And we communicate to MQ, Oracle, DB2, MS Sql server 2005, and Mainframes (MIS) systems.

We are planning to migrate to RedHat as we are facing some issues with the Domain Controllers on Window boxes, and this issue is causing a big impact to our applications.

    Thanks for your help.

The flavors of RHEL that are supported by webMethods product are identified on Advantage. Search on “supported platforms” I think.

IS 6.5 is certified on RHEL as is Broker 6.5. See the docs for specific versions.

    I don’t recall any RHEL-specific issues.
