  • 1.  WEBDAVS Usage

    Posted 09/20/17 01:45 PM

Good Day all, I am setting up a VFS using WEBDAVS to connect to a SharePoint site. Based on what I see in the ActiveTransfer log, I am getting to the site. I asked for a review of the logs generated and a question came up regarding the “POST /webinterface/function/” and asking what the webinterface function does.

Has anyone used WEBDAVS to connect to SharePoint and if so, anything “special” you had to do for it to work?

    Connecting to:www.xtest.SharePoint.com:443
    POST /WebInterface/function/ HTTP/1.1
    User-Agent: CrushClientHTTP/6.0 (Generic OS 6.0) Java
    Accept: text/html, image/gif, image/jpeg, *; q=.2, /; q=.2
    Pragma: no-cache
    Host: www.xtest.SharePoint.com
    Cache-Control: no-cache, no-store
    Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
    Content-Length: 74
Waited 25 ms for header response:HTTP/1.1 404 NOT FOUND

    Hi both,

Have you increased the logging level for activetransfer.log to TRACE when you attempted the step to connect to SharePoint via WebDav? If yes please share the log.

If you seriously need help, I would suggest you to raise a ticket to SAG for support.

    Regards,
    Mike
