    Hi all,

    when storing XML documents on TWS 4.1 on win2k the encoding is always converted to utf-8.

    Is there any way to influence this behaviour (i.e. prevent this encoding conversion)?

    Hi,

    currently the encoding is always the default encoding of Tamino. That is for performance reasons.

    Where is the “default encoding of Tamino” set?

    In Tamino 4.1.1 SMH, in “XML properties of database” there is “default encoding”, which is used “if no explicit encoding is requested”.

    Is this what you are referring to?

    If, so, how is it set in Tamino 3.1.2?
