  • 1.  Web console for multiple QM in OpenShift

    Posted Fri September 06, 2024 12:21 PM

    Hi,

I recently deployed a couple of queue managers with MQ Operator in OpenShift, one of each has its own Web Console.

is it possible to deploy a single webconsole for multiple queue managers in openshift?

    Yes, it's possible.
Since MQ 9.3.5, the mqweb web server (with MQ console) has been available in a standalone version for Linux systems.
    Download 9.3.5.0-IBM-MQ-Web-Server-LinuxX64.tar.gz and go ...

It's not possible with the MQ Operator directly.  You will need to build your own container image with just the web server, and set it up yourself.  Unfortunately, we don't have a sample for this, so it's just a case of following the regular MQ for Linux docs.
