    I have successfully installed the WDG server. DBs are created. I have give the web client port as 81. But I cannot access the web client from https://localhost:81. It display Error code 500. Why is that? Help me on this.

    Hello Nisala!

    Are you using the latest IBM RPA 20.12.0 installers or something else? Have you rebooted your env after the installation? What is your host OS and version?

    There could be several reasons for this. I suggest you check all the following (after rebooting your env):
    • The database tables are created for the databases
    • IIS sites (for web client and web api) are created and started
    • IBM RPA (WDG Automation) Service is running

    • Version - 20.10.0
    • Rebooted after installation
    • OS - windows server 2012
    • Database tables are created
    • IIS sites are created and started (But if I use port 80 sites are not started)
    • Is Web client and web api should have same port or different ports?
    • WDG automation service is running

    Yes, the ports used for IIS sites should be different. You should also make sure not to use ports that might be in use already. I've used 449 for the Web and 450 for the Web API. But, these should not matter the just need to be unique in your environment.

    Hi,

    I have installed again with web port 449 and web api port 450. But IIS sites didn't started automatically after the installation. I have manually start them from IIS manager. Please see the attached screenshot. Help me on this.

    I have installed URL rewrite 2.1 and reinstall the WDG server. I have used windows authentication in the DB connection strings. Now I'm getting the following error. Please see the snapshot.
