    --------------------------------

we are in process of upgrading from WAS 5.1 to 6.1. but have troubles in installing WAS 6.1 in Windows XP and Server w/ sp3. Does any one know what and how I can resolve this issue? Looks like it can be installed only in sp2, not sp3. The Log displays like,

    (Jun 9, 2009 4:18:04 PM), Process,
    com.ibm.ws.install.ni.ismp.actions.PopulateTitleBarAction, msg1, IBM WebSphere Application Server V6.1.0.0

Detected Windows XP, but the following operating system patches are missing:

There are some problems with the prereq check when you exceed the recommended SP level. If you are above the minimum required (and it seems you are), just click NEXT and continue.

It is a warning rather than an error.............

    Hi PeterK

To disable Operating System Prerequisite Checking , amend the below line into your response file

    -OPT disableOSPrereqChecking=/"true/"

    This is an silent installation.
