Please help  me.

I have installed WAS on AIX, while installation i have not checked AIX server time and zone.  After that we have changed AIX server time and zone, but in WAS logs it's not showing present AIX server time.

After changing AIX server time we have rebooted AIX server, still the same problem.

Present AIX server time zone is  IST, WAS  logs its showing 5 hours Faster than server time. WAS logs time zone is GMT+00.

Please suggest.

  You can stablish the time zone for your server.

  In some UNIX environments (like AIX) sometimes TZ environment variable is stablished in .profiles.  
 
  With the above method the variable is stablished at process level so always works.

What u said is right, we have installed WAS with root user id, after that we changed AIX time. When we start WAS with other ID wasadmin (not root ID), AIX server time is not taking WAS.   When we start WAS with root id, WAS logs it's showing AIX server time.


Other than root id, WAS is not taking server time.
