Could someone please help me in connecting VS code to Netezza.

I've tried the db2, NoSQL and database extensions, but I receive errors for each. Dbeaver connects fine.

I've scoured the internet but find extremely limited resources in what I thought would be a popular IDE selection.

Are you looking for a sql client builtin to vscode to execute some queries? or something else? if the former you can use the 'nzsql' extension by Hugh Nguyen (this is not an officially supported tool)

Along with what Michael stated, there is a generic jdbc extension that can do a few things but nothing really useful. Here is a bug thread the author and I had some correspondence on. He states that he can't support Netezza as he can't sign up for an IBM cloud account.

I faced the same challenge when trying to connect VS Code to Netezza. Unfortunately, there aren't many ready-made solutions out there. To solve this, I created my own Node.js driver and a VS Code extension for Netezza, which works with SQLTools.

You can check it out here: sqltools-driver-netezza
It integrates with SQLTools in VS Code and should allow you to connect to Netezza without issues.
