  • 1.  Virtual collector wait for Control-D

    Hi all:

    I have a Collector (today with 11.5 version), under Vmware esxi (Virtual Machine). When the collector is restart the system wait for a Ctrl-D to continue the starting process. This means, when a vmware administrator is out of system, the collector waiting forever for the ctrl-d. I searched under vmware and is not a configuration of system. Does anybody know how I can change to star automatically the system?

    Hi Carlos!

    We had the same problem in a collector VM in the VMware ESX.

    In our case the problem was related with a disk error. And to resolve that we had to open a case on IBM Support and the support accessed the collector via SSH ussing the root user, and ran the fdisk command to check the disk.
