the .isos are for updateios ... -dev /dev/cd0 , it's in the install instructions on the ibm vios page.

for updates from local or remote disk you download the update files from fix central and not the .isos

if you're curious and have spare time try copying the cd's contents and report back if this worked.

So, I copied all 5 "cds" with bffcreate to a directory, nfs exported and then did ioslevel from the NFS mount directory and looks all when fine.

$ ioslevel
2.2.0.10-FP-24
