    How to install VIM on AIX os ?
    please suggest any other editor similar to VIM ? 
    Because I am not familar with VI editor.

    You can use the AIX Toolbox for Open Source Software to install this package.

    vim is the Linux (open source) version of UNIX and AIX vi.

    If you know vim then you absolutely know vi.
