    When I add a shared volume group to a resource group using C-SPOC the volume group that is currently inside the resource group gets removed from the resource group with the application server. The new volume group then appears as both a shared volume group and a concurrent volume group. All the services remain running until a synchronisation is performed.

    I'm planning to upgrade HACMP 5.5 to service pack 5 which I hope will resolve the problem.

    Does anyone know what exactly is causing the problem? All the logs tell is that there was an unknown problem.
