    Do u mean the steps to create a vertical cluster or u just want to know what a vertical cluster is?

    Vertical Cluster to have two application servers running in the same node (physical machine). This is usually done to utilize the physical resources such as RAM and CPU if they are being under-utilized.

    The configuration for cluster is the same except that you would be selecting the same node for the second application server as well. This will create a vertical cluster.

    when we will go for vertical clustrering and when we will go for horizontal clustering??? I mean in which situation we will consider vertical clustering?when we will consider horizontal clustering?? which one will be the better one???
