    Hi,

     

    I was wondering what the best practice is around getting and recording approvals for versions of processes created in IBM Blueworks. Is there a way of recording who from the business has approved which version and when?

    Hi James,
    If your Approvers have access to Blueworks Live as Editors or Contributors you can use a Blueworks Process Application to handle the approvals. This will provide a complete audit trail.

    Hi Mark, is there any blogs or good step by step guidance on best practice with Process Apps. We have toyed with them previously but not found anything of real value. We were looking to use them in the same way as James describes which I guess is the most common use case.
    If there isn't anything current out there, might be a good opportunity for one of your expert team to help work up :)

    I would start with chapters 6 and 7 of this document 

    Process and Decision Discovery Best Practices using IBM Blueworks Live

    It shows an older BWL user interface but most of the content is still valid.

    Also happy to have a meeting with you at your convinience.
