I am reading the “Sample CM Procedures for VI and PVCS” dated March 2001.
First question, is there an updated guide to reflect the procedures for the current ES tools as so many things have changed since that publication.
At what granularity does one need to go to check adl files into say PVCS? We are using EI 4.6 to import/export code and have been exporting at the integration folder level. This brings in everything it needs. Then we export the client groups using EI too. These two files are all we have been checking into PVCS. This has worked well until we starting using common code and putting it into a common operation. We are trying to establish procedures as we are getting more team members and more projects come the first of the year. Any comments would be appreciated.
