Verifying WF Servers are running from command line

  • 1.  Verifying WF Servers are running from command line

    For our administration on the IS server and broker, we ping them periodically to see if they are up and running (and responding). If they are not, we send an alert email to let us know that something is wrong. Is there any way from a command line to determine if the workflow servers are all up and running and responding? We could probably grep for all of the instances of the workflow servers, but I’m not sure if that would tell us if they are responding.

    We are using WF 6.0.2. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
