question how to verify hex signature ?

the steps i took before verify:
CSNBXEA - ebcdic to ascii  (to get same hash as the remote side)
CSNBOWH - get the hash.
CSNDDSV - the signature is hex format.

i got rc=8 rsn=2af8.

is it possible to verify hex signature ? if not how i can convert the hex signature to DER binary ?
