  • 1.  Verify Directory in containers

    Hi,
    What database does the containerized Verify Directory use?
     
    The Compatibility Report refers to Postgres. However, I couldn't find any configuration in the YAML files to point to the database, no pods, and no reference to it in the container documentation.
     
    Any considerations regarding performance tuning and capacity planning as described for software deployment?

    It is PostgreSQL only as it right now.

    There is some work going on updating the documentation on tuning the Directory that is coming - but I do not know exactly what will be included in the updates.

    In most cases it is fine with the default setting - but if you are working with huge deployments (+100K identities)  you may want to connect to IBM specialists to get some help.

    Rudy,

     

    The Verify Directory container uses an embedded PostgreSQL database and doesn't rely on an external service for the database.
