I have created a map with UTF-8 as input. Typetree is created using the WSDL importer in version 8.4.1.3.

When we run the map on z/OS it fails directly at recognising the Initiator of the SOAP-Envelop.

Do we need something special to use UTF-8 on z/OS?

I think you're going to need to provide the input file to help us make sense of the trace.  Transfer it in binary to the PC platform, and then upload it here.

(In theory, the data should be UTF-8, and be completely readable after being transferred to the PC in this manner).
