Using pub.sync:wait and pub.sync:notify within clustered IS

    Hi,

    I try to use the IS built-in synchronization services (from pub.sync folder) in a cluster (2 IS).
    Reading IS built-in services reference, use of sync services within clusters is not mentionned.

    I tried to run a pub.sync:wait on first node of the cluster (ie. IS 1) with a timeout set to 120s.
    Then I run a pub.sync:notify on the second node of the cluster (ie. IS 2).
    IS 1 never received the notification.

    Then I tried the same test on a single IS and It worked.

    Are sync services supported within a clustered IS configuration ?

    Sync services may not function that notifies the cluster nodes…

    So you may need to reach out to SAG tech support for the further direction and clarity.
