  • 1.  User-defined functions support in Tamino XQuery?

    Posted Wed May 14, 2003 08:40 AM

    Hello,

Did anyone know if Tamino supports user-defined functions at all in XQuery?

I didn’t get documentation about that.

    Hello,
no user-define functions are not supported in
    Tamino XQuery 4.
Workaround is to compose the function realisation into a single query.

    Best regards
    Walter

    Walter,

    Q1:
What do you do when you have a situation where a recursive function is needed ?

    Q2:
Any idea when user-defined function are going to be available in XQuery 4 ?

    Thanks…
