How safe is this? In the past, my Designer has never been the same after I’ve used the Eclipse update manager. But with Designer 8.2 I’m stuck on Helios when the current version of Eclipse is 3 generations on, Kepler.

Designer is SAG solution based on eclipse. I already tested to do it for my Mac Elipse using the Designer plugins and it works but action in BPM and CAF doesn’t work well.
And you will not be able to fix with the update manger.

for updates Designer 9.5 is based on Kepler version of eclipse.
