Hi support,

My customer has ILMT version 9.2.12, and its DB2 in v10.5.03.
Is it possible to backup TEMADB and restore it directly to DB2 11.5 and then go trought upgrade path ILMT 9.2.18, 9.2.24, 9.2.31 ?
Or should I run the upgrade path ILMT 9.2.18, then 9.2.24, backup TEMADB and restore it to DB2 v11.5 ?

Hi Guillaume,

ILMT 9.2.12 is 5 years old. Unless there is a valid reason to restore the database and perform a dual step upgrade of ILMT, I would suggest to do a fresh install and restart from scratch. You can still generate the required Audit Snapshots from the current install and back-up both ILMT and DB2 database for future use or evidences.
Furthermore, unless BigFix is required, I would also look at the ILMT Lite or ILMT with Ansible type of deployments as they could apply.
