  • 1.  Update Mode Add and Modify on a work attribute assignment.

    Hi There,
    In the update mode if had Assignment of cn and set Add and Modify mode to true what would it happend?
    I know modify if its not created it creates the value of cn and also modifies.But not sure what Add does if i set to true? pls advice and see below screen shot for your reference.

    I am not quite sure I can follow you question - so I will try to explain how a connector in update mode normally works.
    The difference between add and modify is basically whether the link criteria returns no or 1 match (more than one match causes an error and can be handled in the multiple results hook).
    If you are not checking something in the mapping there will be no data returned for the add/modify process - so you need to carefully ensure that you perform the mappings necessary in the needed cases...
