  • 1.  Update AXIS modules provides in WAS

    Hello,

    I have a WAS application, developed and supplied by a software company, which uses Axis.
    The Axis jars are included in the application, and are at a higher level than those provided by WAS.
    Result :

    SystemErr R Exception in thread 'SyncManagerWorker No. 0' java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org/apache/axiom/om/OMXMLBuilderFactory.createOMBuilder(Ljavax/xml/transform/Source;)Lorg/apache/axiom/om/OMXMLParserWrapper;

    Changing the delegation mode has no effect.
    Question: how do I update the AXIS 2 package in WAS, given that even with the latest patches (905.22) it is still in a very old version (WAS 7.0?).

    Today the only solution that works is to delete the Axis jar on the WAS side for the application to work.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi, you would have to disable the JAX-WS component in WebSphere.  Follow these steps in the knowledge center.
