For reference, here are the answers to your inquisitive questions from the session.
Q. Can you restore to an on-premises devices with the AnyCloud 365 solution?
A. Yes, we have the restore process administrator, if you are an end employee using the self-service restore only back to email is supported, its an important differentiator on purpose because we want to protect the environment and the solution, so system administrators are able to download an end employees a lot at this point in time.
Q. Can you restore to another account?
A. This is absolutely possible. If you are the system administrator, you go to the retore portal and choose between original account or send it to another account or to download. So that's definitely a choice to restore wherever you like.
Q. Where would data for EU customers reside?
A. We have multiple choices of data centres to choose in EU, we have Paris , Frankfurt and Milan, Amsterdam, outside EU but still Europe we also have London location.. We also have an upcoming one in Madrid as well.
Q. What support is available for this offering from AnyCloud?
A. We as a service company help customers all the way through if you are an enterprise customer and need lot of help, AnyCloud will be there all the way through to address any simple or advanced questions through meetings, raise tickets and will get addressed to talk through any of the functionality or guidance needed.
Q. How much time does it need for a new customer to onboard this backup solution?
A. If customer purchase from AnyCloud website it will be activated immediately. The tricky part is how long will it take to transfer all the data, it depends on the volume of data, from beginning of the backup to end of backup.
Q. Is ACB365 based on a single or multi tenancy solution? ....each customer has their
own server?
A. Customers do not have their own server individually, it is a SaaS solution, they have their own a unique packet in the cloud object storage. Business Partners for instance has access to multi tenancy portal to create many customers and will have full over view of all the tenants.
Q What are the most common recovery scenarios that you see like someone accidently deletes email or entire application server ?
A. Most of the scenarios we see are in terms of email and Sharepoint, even versions in Sharepoint is what we see in common, we also see higher demand in restoring emails through system administrators, that's why we built the self-service restore portal, so system administrators could deliver the task directly to the person who has lost it. Being able to self- serve in the event of a deletion, saves time in raising a ticket.
Q. How much does this cost?
A. USD293 per person per month, no other charges. If its 100 employee company, then it becomes 100 x 293 per month. If you are an education institute, it would be USD 240 per month per seat. If few employee leave the firm, there are no charges for the data restoration at any later point in time.
