Hi All,

We have been facing an issue under high load. Under high load, task rows seem to get locked and task updations fail with the following message:

[POP.017.0001] Task is locked and you may not update it at this time. Please wait till task is unlocked )

We are using webMethods 7.1.3

Now, while searching, I found that in 8.2 we have the following Optional setting:

-Dtask.lock.valid.time

I would like to know if the option can be used in webMethods 713.

I would also like to know what happens once the valid time has completed? If a task updation in progress, hen will there be loss of data?

Is there any other way to unlock tasks?
