Unable to uninstall WebSphere Application Server 8.0.0.7 fixpack

  • 1.  Unable to uninstall WebSphere Application Server 8.0.0.7 fixpack

    Hi All,

              I tried to uninstall WebSphere Application Server  fixpack 8.0.0.7  but I wondered both WebSphere product 8.0.0.0 and fixpack 8.0.0.7 uninstalled.  Is there any way to uninstall fixpack  only.
     
    I tried both GUI and commands

    ./imcl uninstall com.ibm.websphere.ND.v80_8.0.7.20130725_2248 -repositories /home/brahma/WAS8/Fixpack8.0.0.7 -installationDirectory /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer -acceptLicense -showProgress

    Could you please help me to uninstall fixpack from was 8.0 product.

    Hi brahma ,

    I am new too websphere too.

    based on my knowledge , you can rollback to the previous version by providing the offering id of the previous version.    
     ./imcl rollback $WAS_OFFERING_ID -repositories "repositories path"   -installationDirectory "installationDirectory"
    or
    ./imcl install $OFFERING_ID  -installationDirectory $WAS_BASE_HOME  -repositories $WAS_ND_REPOSITORY  -acceptLicense

    or 

    ./imcl uninstall interim_fix_name   -installationDirectory product_installation_location

    Tried rollback option successfully uninstall fixpack from was 8.
