  • 1.  Unable to stop application server using WAS admin console

    Hi,

    I am unable to stop WAS application server using the admin console.
    Getting below error:

    SECJ0305I: The role-based authorization check failed for admin-authz operation Server:stop. The user UNAUTHENTICATED (unique ID: UNAUTHENTICATED) was not granted any of the following required roles: operator, administrator. 

    And i am able to stop through command line.

    WAS- 7.0.0.29
    O:S - Linux

    Please Suggest.

    Had Similar issue in starting a application,

    Our group was listed with operator and admin permissions, but still not able to start the application.

    So I just added my individual ID to the permissions.
    (user and groups -> Administrative user roles -> Add...)

    restarted DMGR and manually sync up the nodes. 

    Dint look into the issue why its not allowing me even wen our grp is listed though..
