Error: "Database Error: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0]SQL Server Network Interfaces: Error Locating Server/Instance Specified"
To go further with the investigation on this issue, please execute the following steps and provide below information:
1. from the "Control Panel" of your rootserver, go to "Administrative Tools" and open "ODBC Data Sources (64-bit)";
2. go to the "System DSN" tab and check if it is correctly set. To do this you have to:
2.1 select 'bes_bfenterpise' with platform 64-bit;
2.2 go to 'Configure';
2.3 from the "Microsoft SQL Server DSN Configuration" dialog window specify the correct IP of the machine where the Database is located;
2.4 click 'Next' and specify the authentication ID and Password for the Database;
2.5 click 'Next and then 'Finish';
2.6 on the "ODBC Microsoft SQL Server Setup" dialog window that appears, click on 'Test Data Source';
2.7 after testing is completed, please provide a screenshot of the "ODBC Microsoft SQL Server Setup" dialog window.
2.8 select 'enterprise_setup' with platform 64-bit and repeat steps from 2.2 to 2.7
2.9 select 'LocalBESReportingServer' with platform 64-bit and repeat steps from 2.2 to 2.7
3. from the "Control Panel" of your rootserver, go to "Administrative Tools" and open "ODBC Data Sources (32-bit)";
4. go to the "System DSN" tab and check if it is correctly set:
4.1 select 'bes_bfenterpise' with platform 32-bit and repeat steps from 2.2 to 2.7
4.2 select 'enterprise_setup' with platform 32-bit and repeat steps from 2.2 to 2.7
4.3 select 'LocalBESReportingServer' with platform 32-bit and repeat steps from 2.2 to 2.7
