    Hello ,  we have converted the ova file into vhd file format and uploaded into COS bucket and created the custom Image. But when creating the vm instance , not getting cli access to that server. In second scenario, we have created centOS server on IBM cloud and running the Qradar setup file / iso file (extract from ova file) on that server, then we are getting below error message. Please check and suggest how to install Qradar CE version on cloud server.

    Hi,
    the computer is always right :-) - error message says
    ERROR: Sorry, upgrades not supported on this release!
    some more background on this: CE does not allow for upgrades. Pls refer to Table 1. Comparison of QRadar capabilities in CE PDF. The ISO is provided to add additional DSMs for instance. If you setup your VM correctly you get your iso image automatically mounted on /media/cdrom. So there is no need to upload it manually.
    The 7.3.3 ova package was designed for ease of use. Setup procedure will be automatically started after first root login. When starting your vm instance on cloud you should have a root shell window you can access. After succesful setup of qradar you should have root shell access to QRadar via ssh. Make sure your network settings are correct. Use command nmtui for CE network setup if needed and double check you Radar network settings. Internet access is a must!

    If you want to go for your second scenario pls use standard QRadar iso image which will generate a time bombed test license for you that can be replaced by a partner or non-productive license later on.

    Hello Karl,

    Thanks for your help.

    We have installed IBM Qradar CE ova file on Oracle virtualbox successfully. Later on we have exported file (ova) & converted into qcow2 file format and using that file created Qradar instance on IBM cloud.

    By doing some network settings, we are able to access Qradar console now but on console (in system and license management) host IP is showing in range 192.168.x.x (used in oracle virtual box) whereas console ip is in the range 10.x.x.x on IBM cloud.
    Also managed host ip is showing 192.168.x.x in qradar psql. 

    Because of this we are getting error while deploying changes for this IP. Please help us on this issue and how we can change this IP in Qradar (IBM cloud).
