This is probably not the correct forum for Linux install questions.
That said, what boot loader are you using? Grub, Windows, something else?
Is Windows or Linux the primary OS? Are you altering an existing system or starting anew?
At what point is the installation failing? The OS, the boot loader config, the disk partition, something else?
Dual booting is not as common as it used to be with the wide spread adoption and availability of VMs, cloud, and VPSs. Perhaps one of these options would be better for you.
