    Hi, 

    I am having trouble with editing or adding values to a variable in the variable view in spss. I have previously had no problems with this & now it seems "stuck". 

    I have already tried the following: 

    re-starting my windows pc 

    re-innstalling spss 

    opening an old spss file - the same thing happens 

    I can run analysis etc no problem, everything else seems fine.

    Would greatly appreciate any potential solutions here.

    Hi @Nina Hapnes

    This does seem strange.  Can you give me more details about what it is you are trying to do?

    • What Version and Platform of IBM SPSS Statistics are you using? 
    • Is the issue related to adding, removing, editing Value Labels for a given variable?
    • Any other details, screenshots, etc. you can give to help me put my own installation in this state will be most helpful.
