  • 1.  Unable to copy the full content in VI editor

    I am trying to copy content with 286 lines and 19,179 characters into a file named 'vivek' using the vi editor, but it only allows me to copy 127 lines and 8,934 characters. The remaining lines are not copied. Can anyone help me out? I have attached the screenshots for your reference. Please help me out

    Did you do :r [file name]?

    If you tried to copy and paste into the terminal window I have seen issues with that and can't recommend it for that much text.

    If i try to copy between the aix servers also facing same issue but it's fine in HP servers , problem in aix servers only
