    Hi there

    Our HMC  7063 - CR2, managing several Power 9 LPARS was recently upgraded to MF71690 - HMC V10R3 M1060
    and since that upgrade, I can no longer open/connect successfully an IBMi ACS 5250 green screen console session to the HMC ( xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port 2300)

    ACS version 1.1.9.4

    has anyone encountered this before or have any suggestions where I might start my investigations /

    re-read the release notes  doh  

    In newer versions of HMC, the unsecured Telnet port (2300) used for 5250 console connections has been disabled. 
    To use the HMC 5250 console, you must configure the session to use SSL/TLS on port 2301.
