Looking for some documentation or some substantial reasons why UM technology should be used vs broker–Understand Broker will be out of support in 2020.

    Hi Signi,

as of now (wM 9.10, wM 9.12 and newer) it is recommended to start new Business/Installations with UM.

For existing Business I would prefer to stay with Broker (eventually updated to latest Version 9.6) as long as possible as there seem to be some pitfalls when migrating Broker to UM.

One difference is that Broker can be maintained via MWS component where as UM has its own UI for this which is not (yet) integrated into MWS.

    Regards,
    Holger
