You would need to check with you sales rep regarding licensing. Maps can be run from the Designer or a Server (Event or Command) installed on the machine. If the machine where TX is installed can see the resources (file, database, etc.) on a remote machine (mounted drive, db client, etc.) then the remote machine could send an event or issue a remote command to the server telling it to run the map. As an alternative you could set up an environment where a user could deliver their inputs to a server and have the server send the result back. There are many alternatives for the transport (MQ, email, FTP, HTTP, JMS, etc.)

That sounds very good, so all the user would need is the compiled map and possibly the mdq file if they need to connect to a database or is the mdq file included when the map is compiled. Not sure about that last part.

Please indicate where some of the remote command informatiom may be stored in the pdf file.
