WAS actions (publish, start, stop, restart) in WCS Developer are extremely slow. For example publish takes average 3 minutes on my Core i7 X 64. I tried to tune WCS developer using following recommendations:

    jeethoughts.wordpress.com/2012/03/15/bes...
    techhari.blogspot.ru/2011/02/tuning-wcs-...
    blog.croc.ru/download/attachments/125014...

It saved me about a minute, but it is still very slow. Is it normal? Do you use any tips & tricks?

I think it's normal that a complete publish of the WC application takes a while.
We're using i7 3.40Ghz x64 machines with 8GB RAM and it takes around 90 to 100 seconds to publish.
How much RAM does your machine have? Adding more RAM can definitely speed things up.

    Wouter, thanks for reply.

My workstation has 8 GR RAM too. As I can understand, it's normal to wait few minutes.

Have you tried reconfiguring WC project? At the moment, we are making changes only in Stores, ExtendedData and ExtendedLogic projects. I thought if I could switch off administrative projects deployment to save time…

Stores, ExtendedData, ExtendedLogic, LOBTools, etc are alle modules of the WC application.
So, I'm not sure how you would reconfigure that to not have to redeploy the complete WC application every time.
I'm very interested to hear if you can find a solution for that.
