Tripwire installation on AIX

    I have an AIX lpars environment with AIX V7.1. Installation of tripwire agent were straight forward on most of the systems, but unfortunately some servers faced problems with running the real time component of the agent.

Ensure the TE agent has read/write permission for file /usr/local/tripwire/te/agent/data/agent/rules.dat"

     

    I reinstalled the agent multiple times, tried to install it manually step-by-step, no errors appears, even the new services of tripwire the being added to the system starts and stops normally, but at the end the real time agent does not work!!!

     

    The tripwire agent version is 8.6.0.1 with real time component 0.9-1.

    Anyone have similar issue or can help???
