    Almost the entire code is written in C++ and it uses the GNU build system ( configure, make, make install ). One can try it themselves in the meanwhile.

    I would recommend that you look into Trusted Execution as it can monitor the files on the server, is built into AIX, and can even prevent execution of changed executables, scripts, etc.  If I was to implement a FIM tool on AIX today, I would use Trusted Execution exclusively.
