    Downloaded the trial but unable to open on Mac book pro. Th following message is popping up "Refer to your firewall documentation or contact your system administrator and add the following URL to allowlist: https://spsssub.ibm.com/licsrv. For other cases, please refer to this link for more information. Please suggest a solution.

    Do you mean this pop-up message?


    The IBM SPSS Statistics Trial shares the same licensing mechanisms as the IBM SPSS Statistics Digital offering.  In order to launch the product and sign in you must authenticate using your IBMid against an IBM license server at https://spssub.ibm.com/licsrv .  The above message is telling you that the application is not able to reach this URL.  That usually means there is no internet access at all for this computer, or it means that the specific executables needed to communicate with the IBM License server are being blocked by a local firewall or internet security software.
    The message above directs you to a technote that discusses the files that need to have access to the internet in order for the login sequence to work.  To resolve your issue, I would suggest starting with that technote - https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/425725
    If after following the instructions in that technote, you still cannot sign in, I suggest ruling out the causes detailed in this technote - https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/7002445
