  • 1.  Transferring SPSS to a new computer

    Several years ago I bought a perpetual license for the (then) current version of SPSS. As a light duty, individual user, I don't need a new (expensive) version each year. 

    Since my current Windows computer can't be upgraded to Windows 11, I need to get a new computer in the next few months. I can't access Tech Support with my license, and I need to know whom to contact or what available resources there are. Any advice will be appreciated. As far as I can tell, there's not much emphasis on individual sales anymore.

    See this technote detailing the steps on moving your IBM SPSS Statistics installation from one computer to another, including 'returning' your authorization code to obtain a new one for a fresh install.
