    Hello, 

    Is there a method where I can transfer all my datasets and files from the current z/OS system  to my personal Laptop (as a backup) and then to the new IBM Explorer machine (Re: zOS System Sunset)?

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Yes. 

    FTP can be used to transfer your COBOL system data sets from COBOL z/OS to your workstation.

    FTP can be used to transfer your COBOL system data sets from your workstation to zXplore.

    Once you have a zXplore ID, then FTP can be used to transfer your COBOL z/OS data sets to zXplore z/OS.

    Send me data sets on COBOL z/OS you want to transfer to your workstation, then I will sned return specific instructions.
